Happy 150th!
Rogue Ale Introduces its Jacksonville Anniversary Ale
In honor of Jacksonville’s 150th Anniversary, Rogue Ale will be unveiling their new Jacksonville Anniversary Ale! The Jacksonville Anniversary Ale will be the toast of the Jacksonville 150th Anniversary Celebration. This commemorative Ale will be available in limited quantities and served throughout the Jacksonville Jubilee week this upcoming September 17-25th. The 1880 US Hotel which is featured on the label was provided by the Southern Oregon Historical Society and stands as a testament to the dedication of our community to preserving our history for all to enjoy.
Rogue Ales started out as a small brewery located in Ashland, Oregon in October 1988. “While the Brew Pub was located in a very pretty and scenic location, had a beautiful deck and enjoyed moderate success and the beer was great, Ashland was not to be Rogue's only adventure (www. Rogue Ales.com).” Later they relocated to Newport, Oregon in order to expand their operation. We are jazzed about our upcoming celebration and are honored to have Rogue as a part of our festivities.
We would like to invite members of the media to be present at the official presentation from Rogue to the City this July 30th 2010 at the Bella Union Restaurant in Jacksonville at 2:00pm. After all, you only turn 150 once.
